Letters - Muslim Hypocrisy
The
muslim Council of Britain expressed shock, horror and condemnation on 7/7. They
appealed for the life of Ken Bigley and Frank Kember. muslims joined in the
rememberance service for Ken Bigley in Liverpool. All in all they did well. It
was a start to a reconciliation with those who because of Islamic atrocities
were feeling hostile towards muslims. What went wrong?
Our government has declared war on terrorism which considering their support and
appeasement of terrorist groups and their supporters is laughable. Now we learn
that Ibqal Sacranie has issued the following press release.

Taking into account this government's fear of the muslim community and their
need to garner this minority vote to stay in power I take Sacranie's statement
"The MCB views with gravest concern the decision taken by the EU to suspend
direct aid to the Palestinian Authority. The EU is seeking instead to turn the
screws on the Palestinian Authority in an attempt to extract even more
concessions from the Palestinian people." as threatening.
He goes on to say that the MCB supports fully the calls by the Arab League and
the International Union of Muslim Scholars for muslims everywhere to generously
give to the Palestinian people in this time of need. He arrogantly urges the EU
to respect the democratic choice of the Palestinian people and accept the call
of the Palestinian Authority for unconditional dialogue based on mutual respect.
He wants the EU which includes our government to accept the call for
unconditional dialogue based on mutual respect with a government who has stated
that Israel must be wiped off the face of the earth. This is from Ibqal Sacranie,
a "moderate" muslim!!
What a pity this "moderate muslim humanitarian" didn't enter into unconditional
dialogue based on mutual respect when our government asked him and his community
to help thwart terrorists in our midst. His only advice was that if the
government banned terrorist organisations or brought in the new anti-terror laws
it would alienate muslim youth. This man must learn he can't have his cake and
eat it. He should either abide by our laws or leave the country.
Sacranie should lose his title to which he was never entitled and did not
deserve and he should be arrested and charged with encouraging the funding for a
terrorist organisation, namely Hamas.
