On 25th March it seemed as if once again we were to retake our capital city but, as events unfolded, it became clear that this was not so.  The demo in support of freedom of expression became a joke as those who were organising it made it clear that free speech was only welcome from those whom they chose to have it.  Everyone was welcome it seemed except Nationalists.  The Observer had this to say:

"Fortunately, the British National Party is nowhere to be seen and the rally will be filled with democratic leftists, Liberal Democrats, secularists and Iranian and Saudi Arabian dissidents."

So it seems our capital city will once again be full of yellow, brown and black but no red, white and blue.  Our turn will come.
