The current trend to demoralise and devalue our troops is sickening. We owe them enormous gratitude and should never forget those who have sacrificed their lives obeying the orders of a country they were proud to serve. Nor should we forget those, no longer in the forces but struggling to settle in civvy street. These people, to whom we owe so much, should be at the top of the list for social assistance. Click Here

As
a Cheshire man I am absolutely appalled that a patriotic woman was arrested
for showing support for our troops in Iraq.
This
country is starting to look like a police state, shades of Nazi Germany spring
to mind, I do hope the arrest was a mistake by over zealous officers and that
full compensation and apology were forthcoming. Being brought up in
Birkenhead during WWII, I can't envisage anyone being arrested for supporting
our troops.
I
think the arrest was a shameful act in what is supposed to be a democratic
country.
