'Lament for my Country'

Weep for us who died in vain

That England should be free'

That her sons should never fight again

Or dominated be.

You Englishmen for whom we fought

Have failed to speak for peace,

Your voices have been silent,

Nought has roused you from your ease.

Dishonesty, greed and selfishness

Have taken over this land,

But Englishmen will rue the day

They failed to make a stand.

For history will record this year

As one of bloodless death,

Of this fair isle, no more to be,

Independant, proud and free.

For you have broken faith with us

Who died for your liberty!
