From Robert Henderson
A calculated campaign to intimidate both those in the media and the general population. In Allison Pearson's case, we have the general same situation as occurred in the case of Lynette Burrows: the police admit no offence had been committed. The police are only empowered to investigate where a crime has been or reasonably suspected to have been committed. Clearly this was ultra vires. When the population have become habituated to this illegal behaviour, the next step will be to introduce a general "hate crimes" law, probably through the EU. This behaviour is not maverick coppers taking the law into their own hands. Rather, it is a consequence of the politicisation of the police by NuLabour. No senior copper now dares do anything other than promote the pc agenda. That mentality filters down through the ranks. As always happens when an elite ideology is aggressively imposed, those bound by it begin to compete to be ever more extreme and active in its application.
