What a scandal.  Our vulnerable people including the elderly and youngsters leaving care are 'let down' (their words) yet they can accommodate 200+ asylum seekers.

Does anti-gay Sir Iqbal have a get out of jail free card?

We've read how author Lynette Burrows was questioned by police for having the audacity to wonder on the BBC whether it was wise to allow homosexual couples to adopt young boys. And how an elderly couple from Fleetwood were banged up for 80 minutes because they wanted to place Christian literature alongside gay rights pamphlets.

What seems to have slipped under the radar is an attack on homosexuals by Sir Iqbal Sacranie, the self-appointed leader of Britain's Muslims. He said on Radio 4 that same-sex civil partnerships were 'harmful'. Has he had his collar felt? Has he been interviewed by the 'hate crimes' unit and warned about his future conduct? What do you think?

Andy Palfreman, local chairman of the Police Federation, said that it may have broken the law after turning down almost 200 applicants because they were white and male.

Following revelations that Somerset & Avon police had discriminated against white male applicants purely because of their race and gender, a civil liberties group - Liberty and Law - have called for the S&A force to be formally investigated. Liberty and Law has written to The CRE and the Equal Opportunities Commission. The director of Liberty and Law in a letter to Trevor Phillips of the CRE stated, "Randomly deselecting white males to increase the numbers of minority ethnic and women recruits is highly illegal".  Liberty and Law

A Civil liberties group has called on Avon and Somerset police to halt its latest round of recruitment while a formal investi..

Anti white racism recognised at last! Whether the CRE & EOC act remains to be seen, if they don't it would tend to suggest they are inappropriately named.

Today on the BBC news at 1 p m an interview with a young doctor was screened. She said that she had tried for 120 posts, had been trained at a cost of £250,000, the last job had 4000 applicants, and dozens of young British doctors have been crowded out by immigrants. She had excellent grades throughout her training, was smart and good-looking, with no obvious disadvantage. Maybe if she had been black or wearing a burka, or was obviously Asian or mid-European she would have a job by now.

This is a very bad situation, which when it spreads to other professions and trades will inevitably mean race riots.
