Five Arrested for delivering leaflets
Wales correspondent reports.
We have just received the following urgent message from South Wales British
National Party.
Sunday
4pm:
Swansea: leafletting team of 5 x BNP
members arrested by police and taken to police station - to be charged ? They
have done nothing illegal, and an official complaint will be lodged in due
course.
However, please will everyone phone Swansea central police
station: 01792 - 456999 and ask polite questions: why have they been arrested,
what are they being charged with, are they being well looked after etc.
Wales correspondent reports.
20:00 Hrs. Wales Regional Voices has been in contact with Swansea Police who
confirm that the five BNP Swansea activists are still in custody and have not -
as yet - been charged with anything!
In addition Swansea
Police are refusing to say why they were arrested, whether they will eventually
be charged or when they will be released! All they are saying is that the
Swansea Five are in "good health"!
It is believed at this
stage that the arrests are politically motivated harassment.
Regional Voices readers
should direct all questions to Swansea Police on 01792 456999. Don't just sit
there - give our people your support!

The latest news from Swansea Police as at 22:00 is as follows:
Swansea Police are still holding the five Swansea British
National Party activists arrested whilst lawfully campaigning in the city this
afternoon. According to our police informant they have now been questioned for
six hours by police interrogators hoping to entrap them.
Swansea police have
confirmed that no charges have, as yet been brought, and continue to refuse to
answer the rather basic question as to why they have been arrested!
Police are also refusing to answer the allegation that the
Swansea Five were arrested on instructions from Labour's Home Office as part of
the ongoing campaign of harassment targeted at the entirely legal activities of
the British National Party.
Updates to follow as situation progresses.
Freedom lovers and opponents of Blair's police state
everywhere, should be phoning Swansea Police on 01792 456999 at regular
intervals to enquire as to the welfare of the Swansea Five and to express their
outrage of this affront to democracy.
Wales correspondent reports.
Swansea Police were again contacted at 24:00 (midnight) and the latest news is
that all five are still being held - Swansea Police having now been
interrogating the Five individually for an incredible eight hours, in the
hope of finding something - anything in fact - with which to charge them.
It is alleged, by an informed source, that the Five were
arrested on instructions from senior politically correct officers desirous of
courting favour with Labour's Home Office as an "edge" in the promotion stakes.
Despite repeated requests Swansea Police are refusing to
say whether the Five will be kept in cells overnight, whether they will be
charged or, even, why they were arrested in the first place!
It is appearing increasingly obvious that Swansea Police
have made a major gaff and are now engaged in an operation to "save face" by
concocting something with which to charge the Five.
We urge all those, not just
Party members, who are disgusted at this latest example of Blair's Jack Boot
Britain to call Swansea
Police to enquire after the welfare of the victimised activists and to express
their disgust at Swansea Police's despicable behaviour. The number is 01792
456999.
Finally released on bail on Monday morning – read Chairman’s column

These people are not arrested for advocating the killing of people here in the
UK, nor are they arrested for inciting others to commit murder. They are
allowed by the British government and police to continue their terrorist
activities. To do otherwise would offend the sensitivities of the muslim
community and alienate muslim youth.
Londonistan
This person never advocated killing anyone nor did he incite others to murder
the Prime minister of the UK. He criticised Islam which has landed him in
court where he faces a prison sentence if found guilty.
Sir
John Bull: February 2006
That is genuinely very worrying. I've just answered a post where I was called a 'Liar' because I said Nigeria's corrupt government were Islamic fundamentalist and apparantly their President or Prime Minister is a Christian. I found it depressing but not for the reason some people might think. Everything I've ever read or heard about Nigeria has centred around corruption, human rights abuse, Sharia law and violence, sometimes violent clashes between Muslims and Christians, sometimes just violent demonstrations. Nigeria has a Christian leader yet he still allows Muslims to stone women in the street under Sharia law. Here we have our police cracking down on people handing out leaflets for the BNP whilst being too scared to tackle Muslim demonstrators in London. Is that how it's going to work for us too? Our government is going to be too scared to tackle militant Islamists so it picks on anyone who will stand up to the problems we have rather than face clashes?
