According
to an article in the "Coventry Citizen" this
week, "Muslims and non-Muslims are marking 1,000 years
of Islam in this country as part of Islam Awareness
Week."
The article continues "There has always been a
presence of Muslims in the British Isles, we want to
make people aware that Islam in Britain is not
something new."
According to Dr Aiman Alzetani, who was being
interviewed for the article, "Non-Muslims are ignorant
and misinformed about what Islam represents."
I expect there have been Muslims here for a thousand years but it is only in
the last thirty years they have started to make their presence felt and only
in the last ten that they have been killing people wholesale in the West. Suddenly,
from a few tolerable, low profile Muslims we now have a huge, vociferous and
volatile presence. We don't want it.
If you are one of those described as "Ignorant and misinformed" you
might like the right of reply.
